Members of the public are welcome to address the City Council on agenda or non-agenda items. Speakers are limited to three (3) minutes each. The Council may not deliberate or take action on items not listed on the agenda.

4. Discussion and possible action regarding the hiring of the Public Works Director. 

5. Discussion and possible action regarding compensation for office staff 

performing meter reading duties. 

6. Discussion and possible action regarding the City Secretary's one-year 

performance evaluation and consideration of a pay increase. 

7. Discuss and consider adoption of a Resolution authorizing the submission of an application for financial assistance from the Texas Water Development Board. 

8. Update on the $5.5 million Texas Water Development Board Grant. 

9. Discussion and possible action regarding implementation of smartphone meter 

reading. 

10. Executive Session 

The City Council may convene in Executive Session pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code to discuss any item listed on this agenda as permitted by law, including but not limited to: 

Section 551.074 - Personnel Matters (Public Works Director and City Secretary Evaluation) 

Section 551.071 - Consultation with Attorney, if necessary. 

11. Reconvene in Open Session 

Discussion and possible action on items discussed during the Executive Session.
