Public Works Director Job Posting

The City of Zavalla is accepting applications for the position of Public Works Director.

The Public Works Director is responsible for overseeing the City's public works operations, including water and wastewater systems, streets, facilities, equipment maintenance, and other public infrastructure. The selected candidate will provide leadership, supervision, and direction to ensure the efficient operation of public services and compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in public works, utilities, water/wastewater operations, or related field and a class C water License preferred 

• Supervisory experience preferred.

• Knowledge of municipal operations and infrastructure maintenance.

• Ability to communicate effectively with the public, staff, and elected officials.

• Valid Texas Driver's License required.
