NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

CITY OF ZAVALLA, TEXAS 

PROPOSED 2026-2027 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET AND PROPOSED TAX RATE 

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Zavalla, Texas, will conduct a Public Hearing on the proposed City of Zavalla 2026–2027 Fiscal Year Budget and the proposed 2026 Tax Rate. 

DATE: Thursday, September 3, 2026 

TIME: 6:00 P.M. 6:25 P.M. 

LOCATION: Zavalla City Hall 

ADDRESS: 242 East Main Street, Zavalla, Texas 75980 

The purpose of this public hearing is to provide the citizens and taxpayers of the City of Zavalla an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed 2026-2027 Fiscal Year Budget and the proposed 2026 Property Tax Rate prior to consideration and action by the City Council. 

The proposed budget is available for public inspection at Zavalla City Hall, 242 East Main Street, Zavalla, Texas 75980, during regular business hours. 

Any person may attend the public hearing and may participate by providing comments regarding the proposed budget and proposed tax rate. 

The City Council will consider public comments received during the hearing before taking action on the proposed budget and tax rate as permitted by law. 

This notice is given in accordance with applicable provisions of the Texas Local Government Code and Texas Tax Code.
