Declaration Of Local Disaster Proclamation of the Mayor of the City Of Zavalla

DECLARATION OF LOCAL DISASTER 

BY 

PROCLAMATION OF THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF ZAVALLA 

WHEREAS, due to infrastructure failure Over Usage and Water Leaks 

loss of water 

caused by 

presents an imminent threat of widespread or severe 

damage, injury, or loss of life and property resulting from wide spread failure of City and other public calamity resulting there from, which requires emergency action; and, Water System 

WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Zavalla has determined that extraordinary measures must be taken to prevent and to alleviate the suffering of people and to protect or rehabilitate property; and, 

WHEREAS, the City of Zavalla's Emergency Management Plan should be activated; 

NOW THEREFORE, I, PRESIDING OFFICER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZAVALLA, HEREBY PROCLAIM AND DECLARE: 

SECTION 1. That a state of disaster is declared for the City of Zavalla. 

SECTION 2. That this declaration of local disaster shall be in effect for seven days from this date unless earlier terminated. 

SECTION 3. That this declaration activates the recovery and rehabilitation aspects of all applicable local or interjurisdictional emergency management plans and authorizes the furnishing of all aid and assistance as deemed necessary or desirable by those administering such plans, and activates the preparedness and response aspects of such plans as provided therein. 

SECTION 4. That this declaration shall be filed promptly with the City Secretary, and shall be given prompt and general publicity. 

SECTION 5. That this proclamation shall take effect immediately from and after its 

issuance.
