Applications for Council

CITY OF ZAVALLA, TEXAS

The City of Zavalla is accepting applications from qualified residents who are interested in being appointed to fill a vacancy on the Zavalla City Council. The individual appointed will serve in this position until May 2026, or until the position is filled through the next regular election.

Applicants must meet all qualifications required to serve as a member of the Zavalla City Council under Texas law.

Applications may be obtained and submitted at Zavalla City Hall, 242 East Main Street, Zavalla, Texas 75980, during regular business hours.

The deadline to submit an application is March 24, 2026.

The City of Zavalla reserves the right to review all applications and make the appointment in accordance with applicable laws and city procedures.
